Jobscouting Event – 28th February 2019
This year, for the second time, the Job Scouting Initiative will take place in February – an IT industry event for the IT industry, which we would like to support with our participation! On the one hand, there is an absolute shortage of skilled workers and, at the same time, the number of unemployed ICT specialists is increasing rapidly, so solutions should be found to counteract this problem. So in advance we had the opportunity to view some dossiers and invite 15 applicants for a personal interview on 28 February.
The aim of the cooperation between Microsoft and the RAV of the Canton of Zurich is to connect jobseekers and possible employers of the Microsoft Partner Ecosystem with each other. Qualified employees and their knowledge are regarded as the basis for entrepreneurial success. But where and, above all, how can this target group be found? The problem is no longer new to the IT industry, and we too often face this question. Within the premises of Microsoft, a place was thus created in which the participants get to know each other personally and – unlike usual – focus on the human being. For example, job-seeker computer scientists in ICT planning, development, operation, project management and organization have the opportunity to directly introduce themselves to potential new employers. If the chemistry fits on both sides and good contacts are made, there is even the possibility on the same day to leave the event with a new job in the bag. We are looking forward to this new experience and are looking forward to meet potential new team members.
